Mr. Mahmoud Hawamdeh, the Director of the Center for Continuing Education and Community Service commented that this workshop would change the perspective of the audience regarding smart learning as the workshop explains how to use smart devices that are now widely spread in the development of education.
Mr. Maher Alawneh from PICTI said that the incubator seeks to address the emerging issues in the world and in the Palestinian arena. Therefore, PICTI is cooperating with QOU in this field, indicating that the cooperation between the two sides is continuing to ensure the greatest benefit to the Palestinian society.
The University hosted a keynote speaker at the workshop, an expert in learning through smart devices, Professor John Traxler, who presented a paper addressing a number of problems facing education using smart devices. Professor Traxler also explained that we can change the reality of education and make it easier, faster, more efficient and more connected to the real needs of society through the adoption of some new technologies, and thus improve the quality of life in all its aspects – economic, social, and agricultural and health.
