Al-Quds Open University organizes a training course for the “Mobile Education Center” Project
Continuing Education & Community Service Center & Yatta Branch at Al- Quds Open University organized on Saturday Feb 28, 2015 a training course for South Hebron School Teachers who will supervise the implementation of the educational program of “Mobile Education Center Project for improving educational opportunities in the marginalized areas South Hebron”, which was funded by Community Resilience & Development Program for “C” Area & East Jerusalem (CRDP). Yatta Branch Director Dr. Ali Salah, Deputy Director of Yatta Educational Directorate, the Course trainer from QOU Open Learning Center Mrs. Ghadeer Hamed, Head of Computer Department Mr. Firas Al-Hawamdah, & nine teachers from the project targeted area attended the opening of the training course.
Dr. Salah started the training course, by welcoming the attendance, calling the participant teachers to do their best, as well QOU provides modern technologies in serving education, wishing them all the best.
The Deputy Director of Yatta Educational Directorate Mr. Ibrahim Qar’eesh have stressed on the depth relations between Al-Quds Open University & Yatta Educational Directorate, thanked QOU for its distinguished role in preparing & training teachers, and achieving “Mobile Education Center” that serves marginalized areas South Hebron.
The course trainer, Mrs. Ghadeer Hamed, have explained how this training course focuses on “the Teaching Methods of the Cognitive Content by using Technology (TPACK)”. The training course also includes interactive activities by using various educational strategies.
