QOU and ministry of Telecom and IT organize a workshop about information security

Continuing Education and Community Service Center in QOU and the training center in the ministry of Telecom and IT organize a workshop entitled “best practices in the field of information security… for a safe use of information” in the ministry headquarter in Ramallah. The workshop aims at enhancing the sense of information security and raising awareness towards the possible risks in the information networks, instruments and the users’ privacy.

Head of the information security and networks in QOU Eng. Amjad Abu Aisha delivered a lecture during the workshop and invited them to make use of the information discussed during the workshop, as it is important for all segments of the community especially those who work in the IT field.
Eng. Abu Aisha clarified that the workshop targets the ministry’s employees in general and those working in the field in particular to introduce them to the best practices in using social media and raise their awareness towards the possible information security threats and risks to avoid them in addition to prepare them to deal with security accidents and reporting them.
